I support  clients who come to sessions wanting to work on a specific issue, or just to get some clarity on their life. 

I have experience of working with complex mental health conditions, complex grief, feelings of suicidality and trauma, particularly around women's lived experiences.  My practice focuses on working in an intersectional  way and focus on creating a safe spaces for clients.  The way we will work together is flexible, I will work with you to find what works for you, rather than expecting you to fit a box. 

I work in a sex positive way and work with LGBTQ+ community. I also work from a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective, with an Intuitive Eating approach aimed towards healing from self esteem issues. I have experience of and enjoy working with other therapists and therapists-in-training.

​​I  offer short term structured work or longer term  therapeutic work focusing on exploring early childhood connections in a safe, containing way.  Our sessions would be 50 minutes long and weekly.  We will always work at a pace you feel comfortable with. My sessions are charged at £58 per session. My therapy room is located in St Albans City centre.

Women's Experiences​

As well as running a thriving private practice, I work in the Women's' Sector supporting survivors of sexual violence.   I have in depth experience in supporting survivors of CSA and adult assault. Therapy can provide a space to start thinking about your experiences safely.

Grief 

I have in depth-training, and lived experience, around complex grief; particularly death by suicide, death from murder and grieving a family member you had a difficult relationship with.  In these events its understandable to feel stuck or overwhelmed with anger or even numbness. I will work with you to help you find a path forwards.
